Priscilla Hernandez, Vice President, Hollenbeck Police Business Council

Ms. Priscilla Hernandez is the Vice President of the Hollenbeck Police Business Council, a nationally recognized five-decade youth service provider. Prior to her current position, Ms. Hernandez served as a Deputy Director under Governor Schwarzenegger in Los Angeles and Sacramento. Her tenure with the Governor has been noted for her coalition building, highly visible event planning, project management and external relations with key California stakeholders. As a Campaign Statewide Coalition Deputy Director in Education, she built key alliances and developed statewide communication strategies. 

Most recently, Ms. Hernandez initiated, and sponsored state legislation to establish uniformed practices within local education agencies when dealing with students with nutritional health concerns. 

Ms. Hernandez has an extensive background in philanthropy and non-profit organization. She has been actively involved in activities at both regional and national levels. She was a past Chair of a Commission in the City of Pasadena. Hernandez also serves on various boards including ASAS National Foundation, GLAAC Boy Scouts of America and the National Ambassadors of FARE (Food Allergy Research and Education). 

Ms. Priscilla Hernandez received her undergraduate degree at the University of California at Berkeley and an MPA from the University of Southern California. She currently resides in Pasadena with her husband Zachary, and two young sons Zacky and Jacob.
