Gale Kohl, Owner of Gale's Italian Restaurant

The owner of landmark Pasadena Restaurant for the past 20 years, Gale’s Italian Restaurant, Gale has been a philanthropic community supporter of Pasadena’s many charities for her entire life.

Following a long dream career overseeing food facilities for major film studios, including Walt Disney Imagineering, Kohl opened Gale’s in the heart of Pasadena.

Gale is a long-time supporter of numerous local non-profit organizations, demonstrating her dedication to the betterment of our community. Her generous contributions have significantly impacted institutions such as the Arboretum Foundation, the Armory Center for the Arts, Ability First, Huntington Hospital, MUSE/IQUE, Pasadena Humane Society, and the Rose Bowl Legacy Foundation.

Notably, Gale currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Rose Bowl Legacy Foundation, showcasing her leadership and governance capabilities in a non-profit setting.
