Don W. Fedde, Chief Executive of Fedde Furniture Company

 A native Pasadenan, Don is a graduate of the USC School of Business, and since 1963 has been the chief executive of family owned Fedde Furniture Company, which was founded in Pasadena in 1937. The store has received a designation as Retailer of the Year by the National Home furnishings Association, and active management now includes son Mark, and daughter Melinda. 

Civic involvement has included Presidencies of the Tournament of Roses (1990), the Pasadena Museum of History, and Pasadena’s Breakfast Forum and Twilight Club. His most recent project has been the construction of a therapeutic equestrian center for Move A Child Higher (MACH1) in the Hahamongna area of the Arroyo, in cooperation with the City. Past projects have included those of Pasadena Rotary. 

Hobbies include antique tractors, and a home in Big Bear. Having once lived on the edge of the Arroyo on Westmoreland, Don and his wife, Julie, once again live in Pasadena after 46 years in San Marino. They have three sons and a daughter, and nine grandchildren, all in Southern California.
