Candy Renick, Director of Development
After many successful years as a producer of television commercials and main title sequences for movies and television at Imaginary Forces, a design and production company in Hollywood, Candy turned her attention to her children and her community and discovered her enthusiasm for non-profit fundraising.
In her 15 years as a parent at Chandler School in Pasadena, she filled virtually every volunteer position, ultimately serving on the Board of Trustees for her final six years. Her Board positions included Chair of the Capital Campaign and Chair of the Development Committee. Along with Director of Development and Committee Members, Candy helped strategize and execute school fundraising initiatives to fund major construction projects and ongoing capital expenditures as well as develop organization and structure that led to consistent growth of the school’s Annual Fund.
Once she completed her Board service at Chandler, Candy joined the Advancement Office at Westridge School for Girls where she worked in the Alumnae Affairs office organizing major school events and fundraising efforts.
Candy still loves volunteer work and is currently on the Parent Board at Mayfield Senior School, and is V.P. of Communications for the National Charity League’s Pasadena Chapter. Candy graduated from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration.
